This is a good idea, although I live in Rome, I have purchased it several times.
Take the BUS 116 This is a small, electric bus that goes through the heart of the historical district. It goes from Borghese Park to the Vatican City.
It stops near Piazza Barberini, Spanish Steps, Sant’Andrea, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Campo de Fiori.
