Evgen Bavčar images are a real challenge to his blindness, the age of twelve.
Enhances the difference between looking and seeing with deep sensibility as a photographer whose works are shaped by his memories and impressions of the world, creating “visions of the soul” dreamlike, and exciting.

His photographs have the scent of Slovenia and express the memory of space, light and shapes of his childhood.

When asked how he photographed, he replied: “You must not ask how, but why I photograph. I photograph in relation to noise, smells and especially in relation to my experience of light. Then I choose my photos, thanks to the advice of friends with their eyes free from personal obsessions. “
