Caravaggio.
I think there’s anything to say.

But since we are, let me give you some addresses where you may admire the Caravaggio paintings in Rome.

CARAVAGGIO in ROME
Start from the Santa Maria del Popolo Church, in Piazza del Popolo, and you will find two of his finest works: The Conversion of St. Paul and the Martyrdom of St. Peter.

Continue towards the center, Piazza Navona, and visit St. Luigi dei Francesi Church, where you could stay long to admire the Calling of San Matteo, but if you have little time, go to the nearby Church of St. Augustine, to see the Madonna of the Pilgrims.

There are other sites where you can admire Caravaggio, as in the Galleria Borghese
