Dating back to 1342, it stands guarding the valleys.

You can get lost in the narrow cobbled alleys, admiring walls and towers, among shops of local delicacies (ham and salami, cheese and homemade pasta) and restaurants.

Walking to reach the Piazza della Collegiata,  the beautiful medieval Church (1222 ) on the top of the hill,  you might even come across a romantic wedding (just celebrated) with the bride and groom who, like in a movie set, are posing in this fairytale atmosphere…

From the square, enter the Rocca entrance where you can also visit the multimedia museum on medieval life.

And, find out if you are going to go in the fall, because in September are always organized three days of shows and dinners in medieval style…  not to be missed!
