You can spend a visit,  surely of great effect, in the Basilica of Santa Prassede, located near the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore, in the Monti neighborhood.

It will fill the eyes of light, looking at this wonderful Byzantine monument, the most important of Rome!

Furthermore, according to tradition, there is kept the column, brought to Rome from Jerusalem, to which Jesus Christ would have suffered the flagellation.

The normal entry, but secondary, is located on the right side of the building overlooking Via Santa Prassede.
