The Smell of Bread in Roma

1 kg of flour , 30 g of yeast , salt to taste  a little bit of  warm water.

This is the Bread.

1) Place the flour on the table, dissolve yeast in warm water and salt, pour it in the middle of the fountain.
2) Add more warm water. Knead the dough for 20 minutes continuously and with a lot of energy.
3) Place it in a bowl, floured, cover with cloth and let rise in a warm place for 3 hours. The pasta will double in volume.
4) At this point take it with wet hands and give it the preferred form. Bake it (must be pre-heated oven) and cook until the crust is crisp!

Famous bakery, not only for the bread but, especially, for the white pizza!

Prawns sautéed with basil

Always miss the time!

We are always in a hurry, and eating becomes our ultimate interest!

WRONG!

Never forget to gratify the taste!

So, here’s another TIP, easy, easy ….

For 4 persons: 16 Prawns, fresh basil, garlic, 2 tomatoes, 1 cup white wine, 50 g pine nuts, 1 lime, 2 bunches of arugula, fresh parsley, olive oil, Salt and pepper. Shell the prawns, leaving tails attached. The marinade: blend the basil, a clove of garlic, the grated rind of a lime and some olive oil. Put the mixture into a bowl, combine pine nuts, salt and pepper. Cover and put to rest in the fridge. The tomatoes sauce: in another bowl, place the tomatoes cut into cubes, add the grated rind of the lemon, 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley and a little oilsalt and pepper.

Sauté the shrimp in a pan with some oil for 3 or 4 minutes.

Put the arugula on plates, arrange the Prawns on the arugula and dress with the tomato sauce and the marinade with basil.

Garnish with lemon wedges and basil!

Pasta Gamberi and Zucchine

Pasta, of your choice, preferably short and handmade, ( I will teach how to do you on another Post!) with Gamberi and Zucchine.

For 4 people:  20 fresh large raw shrimp, olive oil,  2 zucchini, garlic, 4 red tomatoes, fresh parsley, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt and pepper. 

The Recipe

In pot of boiling water, cook the pasta about 10/15 minutes, drain. The pasta should be firm!

For the sauce:

in a large skillet, heat the oil well, fry the zucchini julienned about 3 minutes and put them in a large bowl.

Cook the shrimps and garlic in very hot oil for few minutes, add  tomatoes and continue cooking.

Add shrimp in the bowl with the zucchini , and mix with hot pasta. Add parsley, Parmisan cheese, lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
